As always, our number one priority is the care and safety of our clients and employees. As a licensed and accredited behavioral healthcare facility, we have always had a comprehensive and extremely effective infection control protocols in place. This has allowed us to build a framework of best practices that helps us respond quickly and scale accordingly in times of need.
As the threat from the COVID-19 virus progresses, so do our efforts. Here are just a few of the actions we are taking to ensure uninterrupted services:
- We are limiting entry into treatment to individuals who have been properly pre-screened for COVID-19 risk factors.
- Every employee has been asked to follow a self-screening procedure because protecting our clients starts with protecting our people.
- Precautions taken to treat clients with COVID-19 are similar to those taken to treat clients with influenza, with restricted interactions to limit exposure. This is a commonplace procedure during any flu season.
- As always, extensive cleaning to prevent the spread of infection and the reinforcing of good hygiene habits is occurring throughout all of our facilities.
As this latest threat evolves, we will continue to be diligent and comply with all federal and local health agency directives. Our immediate priority has been and will remain the well-being of our clients and employees.
